SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which SRD makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance use of sassa status check Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
